SARBE SIGNS NEW AGREEMENT WITH SEOUL-BASED COMPANY FOR DISTRIBUTION OF ITS WIDE RANGE OF SEARCH AND RESCUE BEACONS

SARBE, a division of Signature Industries Ltd, has announced the appointment of a new agent in the Republic of Korea to distribute its high-performance Search and Rescue Beacons.

London based SARBE who supply their product to armed forces in over 40 countries worldwide, has signed this new agreement with LAS Hi-Tech Co. Ltd. of Seoul to represent its interests specifically in Korea.

SARBE develop and manufacture a range of Personal Locator Beacons (PLB’s) in the UK and have already introduced the SARBE 6 PLB to the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) on both the KT-1 Turboprop trainer aircraft and have recently provided equipment for the T-50 Golden Eagle Supersonic Jet Trainer.

PLB’s are carried by pilots or crew on board aircraft and naval vessels and can also be used by Special Forces expeditions to ensure fast location and recovery of personnel in the event of an aircraft failure or accident.

According to Brian Clayton, Director and General Manager, SARBE, the appointment of LAS Hi-Tech will be instrumental in promoting the SARBE range of products into Army, Naval, Airforce and other air applications and will facilitate the introduction of additional SARBE products to the Korean armed forces.
